Air Rescue Group is delighted to announce a new partnership with Little Oakley FC, supporting the club’s Under-14 squad for the 2026/27 season.
Based just a short distance from Air Rescue Group’s Sentinel House headquarters in Harwich, Little Oakley FC has a proud history within the local football community. The club was established in 1947 as Little Oakley War Memorial and has progressed steadily through the non-league pyramid, most recently winning the Essex Senior League title in 2025/26 and earning promotion to Step 4 football for the first time in its history.
For Air Rescue Group, the partnership represents an opportunity to support young people within the community in which the business is based.
Air Rescue Group operates internationally across Search and Rescue, aviation support, specialist training and simulation, with operations and training activity spanning multiple continents. The organisation has been involved in military and commercial all-weather SAR operations around the world and today supports both frontline operations and the development of the next generation of aviation professionals.
Trevor Abraham, Managing Director of Air Rescue Group, said:
“Although much of our work takes place internationally, Sentinel House is our home and we want to build meaningful relationships within the community around us.
“Grassroots football is about far more than what happens on a Saturday or Sunday. It gives young people an environment to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and responsibility — values that are equally important within our own organisation.
“We are really pleased to support the Little Oakley U14 squad this season and look forward to following their progress.”
The partnership will see Air Rescue Group supporting the Little Oakley U14 squad throughout the season, strengthening the Group’s growing relationship with organisations and communities across the Harwich and Tendring area.
Little Oakley FC’s roots within the community stretch back almost 80 years, while its recent success represents an exciting new chapter for the club. Air Rescue Group is proud to play a small part in supporting that future from junior football upwards.
Good luck to the players, coaches and families for the season ahead.
