Air Rescue Africa

Air Rescue Africa Offshore Services (PTY) Ltd registered in Namibia is a joint venture company between Air Rescue UK Ltd, Westair Aviation Group & Medical Rescue Africa (MRA). Established in 2024 after 4 years of the owners working together on SAR projects in O&G, Air Rescue Africa is positioned to provide support to SAR and other Hoist Operations in Namibia and the greater southern Africa. Key to Air Rescue Africa is developing and training local staff to international & industry recognised standards for Hoist Operations.

SAR operational rearcrew in Namibia now have a 50% local content and as Air Rescue Africa grows and the existing Namibian Technical Crew gain operational experience the balance will swing more and more to full Namibian crewing.

Air Rescue Africa is ready to work with all operators in southern Africa to provide SAR Technical Crew Hoist Operators and Winchmen along with qualified Technical Crew for other Helicopter Operations including HEMS Rescue, Port Services and Med Rescue.

Resourcing from MRA allows us to provide Helicopter Emergency Medical Services at Advanced Life Support Paramedic level and above.
