2025 is a big year for Air Rescue UK and our group of companies. From humble beginnings in 2015, we have grown our reputation in supporting Search & Rescue Operations with highly qualified SAR Technical Crew. Our flying training provision for Helicopter rear-crew has grown from a single contract training on wing to us partnering with Bluedrop Training & Simulation to provide the most advanced Helicopter Hoist Simulation world wide to Civilian & Military Hoist Operations. We are providing Emergency Care Training across a broad spectrum of levels for both aviation and ground providers. Finally we have a growing cadre of Human Factors & Aviation CRM instructors to satisfy Human Factors Training in Aviation, Safety Critical Industries and emerging markets.
Operationally we are now supporting SAR and Hoist Medevac on 3 continents from 4 bases in 4 countries with more to come in the near term.
And there is even more to come. This Blog is the launch of our new website and also the new web site of Air Rescue Training & Simulation it also coincides with our imminent move, after 12 months of planning & build, into our purpose constructed HQ & Training Centre in Harwich UK and within Freeport East.
Aside from Simulation space the new centre at Sentinel House will House 3 Classrooms each capable of housing up to 12 students and the facility to open the classrooms up to create a lecture theatre for up to 50 people. The ‘Holman’ Room, named after our colleague Mike Holman, can accommodate 12 comfortably in boardroom configuration and doubles as a 4th teaching space, additionally we have 180m2 of secured outdoor space for scenario training.
We will make our facilities available to outside organisations and businesses who require space for training events and and conference while optimising our own use.
